My short story, The Kind of Truth I Don't Own Up To, was included inside the Fall 2014 issue of Plenitude Magazine.
Plenitude is Canada's queer literary magazine. I recommend checking it out if you're interested in reading quality work by queer writers from around Canada and the rest of the world. You'll find a little bit of everything in the magazine.
My story In a Daze is included in the spring break New Adult romance anthology Breakaway.
About my story:
Just outside Toronto, where everything is snow and salt stains, Spring Break means nothing to Martie, because it’s called Reading Week and it’s for catching up on assignments—not drinking at some beach resort. But when Daze, the curvy hottie Martie’s been obsessed with, invites her to an exclusive women-only evening, Martie has no idea she’s about to step into an alternate universe—one where the ‘50s butch-femme scene is alive and thriving. If Daze is the femme, then Martie better man up—and fast.
In December 2013, I blogged about my desire to reboot Ready or Not, a Canadian TV show from the '90s, through fanfiction. In February 2014, I posted the first chapter of my RoN fanfiction reboot. I apologize for the obscurity of this fanfiction. I'm not even a reader of fanfiction. So what am I doing writing it? Well...I needed a break from the whole novel-revising insanity. I have to be honest here: I don't know if there will ever be a Chapter 2, because I've got other things to be procrastinating about. Hypothetically, if there were to be a mob of people emailing me for more installments, maybe I'd give it a shot again. Who knows.
